Description

Precision Rentals, a division of Precision Drilling, is recruiting for an Equipment Service Technician. The Equipment Service Technician is responsible for performing repairs and maintenance on surface equipment and well site units. Responsibilities include:

- Perform pipefitting, minor welding, plumbing, electrical repairs and carpentry work as required;
- Cleaning, repairing and painting equipment;
- Other general shop tasks as assigned; and,
- Requirement to work overtime from time to time as well as participate in an on-call rotation of 14 days in and 7 days off.

The successful applicant will possess the following qualifications:

- High School Diploma;
- Completion of college/vocational technical training is considered an asset;
- Mechanical aptitude and 2 years experience in a similar role;
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License and a current Drivers Abstract;
- Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S and FIRST AID Certificates or ability to obtain;
- Excellent attitude toward a safe work environment;
- Ability to handle physically demanding work;
- Strong work ethic, self-motivated and able to work independently; and
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
