The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce (the Chamber) & Weyburn Regional Economic Development (WRED) are currently seeking a General Manager (GM).  The GM reports directly to the Board of Directors of the Chamber & WRED.  This position is responsible for the strategic direction of each agency, for executing the mandates of the agencies, and for the day to day operations of the agencies.

The GM is the face of business in the Weyburn region and is responsible for representing the business community to government and other groups, as well as assisting local government in economic development policies.  The skill set of the GM is one of sound business sense, excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a client focused approach to partnerships and resource allocation and gathering.

Weyburn Regional Economic Developments mission statement is to facilitate economic growth, which includes tourism, by identifying needs, coordinating resources, and developing partnerships.

The Weyburn Chamber of Commerce mission statement is to represent the interests of its Members by advocating for a health community both economically and socially.
