Saskatchewan Blue Cross,is currently recruiting for a temporary Full Time Group Billing Analyst in our Saskatoon Office.  

Reporting directly to the Manager of Accounting, the Group Billing Analyst provides a high level of customer service & operational support through the processing, analyzing & reporting of financial information & the management of accounts receivable in the group billing process.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Manage the group premium billing process
-Retrieve & distribute system generated bills
-Review bills for accuracy; investigate & resolve billing issues
-Prepare & process manual adjustments when necessary
-Complete bill analysis & detailed customer account reconciliations for premiums & payments
-Monitor & follow up on outstanding receivables & manage the arrears & collection process
-Complete outstanding revenue calculations & month end revenue reporting
-Develop, revise & update billing procedures & controls where necessary
-Liaise with key individuals both inside & outside of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Completion of Intermediate Financial Accounting I and II or equivalent & working towards completing a related diploma or degree program
-Previous experience in the insurance industry would be an asset
-Knowledge of revenue recognition principles & accounting concepts
-Knowledge of accounting processes, procedures & internal controls
-Advanced knowledge of Excel & the ability to work with database systems
-Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills; ability to resolve complex billing issues
-High degree of accuracy & attention to detail
