The individual must also be able to offer creative solutions, including complete and workable deliverables, while working both independently and within a team environment. Multitasking will be required to provide support in a diverse project environment, while maintaining an organised program.
The successful candidate will hold a degree in one of the following disciplines: engineering physics, electrical engineering, computer engineering or computer science. Skills in some or all of the followings areas are required: C programming, data analysis software (such as IDL), python, shell scripting, and web programming. The candidate must have an advanced knowledge of UNIX-based computer operating systems and experience interfacing software and hardware.
All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply; however, Canadian citizens and permanent residents will be given priority.
