Description

We are seeking a motivated person between 15 and 30 years of age to help us move forward with an important project "Take A Book, Leave A Book" in First Nation communities in Saskatchewan. This is designed to make literacy more accessible to those who lack a library in their community.

You will work between 500 and 600 hours between now and the end of March 2015.  This will be done from your home, in meetings with your supervisor and in attendance at events and meetings. Altough Yorkton is listed as the base community, there are a great number of towns or cities in which your home office may be located. Hours are flexible/you have input and you are needed as soon as you are able to begin.

Your duties will vary widely; there will be everything from creating documentation to the program, to visiting and photographing sites and collecting data, to connecting with those who might be interested in supporting or having a Take A Book location.  Outcomes based.  Raising awareness of the initiative is an important part of your duties.
