Position Details:
Temp. Part-Time
Assignment:
2 hrs/day (preferably 4 hrs/day on days 1,3,5)
Term:  
October 17, 2014 to expire on June 26, 2015.
Qualifications:
Min. Grade 12 or equivalent, preference given to candidates who possess a diploma or certificate in an Educational Assistant or related post-secondary program
In accordance with Administrative Procedure 400-Staff Recruitment and Selection, if the successful candidate has not completed the appropriate training, he or she will be required to enroll in a SIAST Educational Assistant or equivalent post-secondary special education program prior to the completion of their probationary period.
ASD experience/training is considered an asset.
Duties:
Duties include supporting students with special needs & other duties as outlined on our website in AP 431Duties & Responsibilities of Educational Assistants.  
Salary & Benefits:
In accordance with the current CUPE Local 4784 Collective Agreement,as listed on our website.
