Description

Saskatchewan Blue Cross, is currently recruiting for multiple full time permanent Customer Service Representatives to join our team located in our Saskatoon office.

JOB FUNCTION
This position is responsible for maintaining positive customer relations by handling inbound call centre telephone & walk-in inquiries from prospective customers & current policyholders in relation to the products and services offered.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide clients with a superior customer experience & address benefit inquires & concerns & interpret & explain plans/payment
-Analyze questions with varying degrees of complexity while navigating through multiple software programs
-Listen to customers & analyze their needs in a professional manner
-Research & offer solutions adapted to client needs
-Promote & sell company products/services
-Communicate extensively by telephone, in person, writing,fax & e-mail with members, administrators, government agencies & providers
-Ensure policies are maintained & updated
-Remain current with product knowledge
-Participate in ongoing training & self-development with aim to provide top-quality customer service & increase product/industry knowledge
-Work as part of a team under general supervision

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Post-Secondary Diploma or Certificate & previous customer service experience dealing with the public or an equivalent combination of training & experience
-Previous experience in the insurance or health care industry or with the administration of group plans would be considered an asset
-Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word & Excel with the ability to easily learn new software programs
-Must possess strong written & verbal communication skills
-Effective listening & problem solving skills
-Must be service oriented & responsive to customer needs
-Availability to work core business hours (Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)
