Position and Scope
As an integral member of Envirotecs Accounting and Finance team, you will be responsible for leading the execution of the financial planning, strategy and management reporting including monitoring and analyzing performance to plan, forecasting, communicating results to management and disseminating time and relevant business data to support decision making. The ideal candidate must be assertive, self-directed, innovative, driven by details and deadlines and possess excellent knowledge of operations. The position offers opportunities for advancement within a growing and very dynamic company.
Key Accountabilities of the position include:
1. Preparation of the monthly reporting packaging including KPI reporting, financial analysis of key business trends, and comprehensive explanations of variances.
2. Preparation of the annual budget, quarterly forecasting, capital expenditures and quarterly forecasting of the business in conjunction with business unit managers.
3. Compliance for inventory counting procedures and inventory valuation.
4. Working closely with the President and Vice-President to continually improve operational reporting, to support better decision making, accountability and operational efficiency.
5. Working closely with business unit managers to ensure accurate analysis of costs.
6. Internal cost controlling within finance and operations.
7. Assist with business planning and strategy for the entire company.
