Description

In-Line Pigging Solutions is seeking a Pipeline Maintenance and Operations Technician to join our team.
Based out of Regina or Calgary, this position requires a person who is customer focused, safety oriented and willing to work around the province of Saskatchewan and into Alberta as needed.
Responsibilities for this position will include:
-Support pipeline operators and technicians with their maintenance activities.
-Assist with the launch and receive of pipeline pigs.
-Installation and removal of pig traps, flanges, blinds, and spools etc.
-Operation of a 6-ton picker truck and coordination of the picker crew.
-Gas and oil handling support.
-Right of Way (ROW) maintenance.
-General oilfield maintenance
Job Requirements
-Clean drivers abstract with air brake endorsement.
-Picker operating ticket and previous picker operating experience.
-Previous maintenance, pipe fitting or oilfield maintenance experience.
-Vehicle inspection checklists
-Willing to work outside in all different weather conditions as well as to lift, pull and manage heavy equipment and objects, in a safe and efficient manner.
-Willing to travel, as well as working evening and weekends during busy seasons.
Skills and Abilities
- Hard working with problem solving abilities.
- Critical thinking and decision making including job task planning and organizing.
- Working with others in a team environment.
- Computer skills with familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word and Google apps.
-Safety oriented with the ability to direct and lead tool box safety meetings.
-Coupling/uncoupling procedure.
-Basic mechanical and troubleshooting.
-Stuck & Towing awareness.

-Air Brakes Endorsement
-First Aid/CPR Certificate
-H2S Alive
-WHMIS Certificate
-Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate
-Confined space training
