Description

Eagle's Nest Youth Ranch provides 24 hour quality care, counseling and therapeutic social and educational programs to vulnerable youth. Youth are provided with a home environment where caring adults provide routines and limits, nurturing and understanding, and teach values and skills required for successful living.  

ENYR is currently accepting applications for Youth Care Workers:  both full & part time positions at the new Christopher Lake program.

Job Description:  The Youth Care Worker (YCW) is responsible for the direct care and supervision of the residents and provides for the youths emotional and physical needs through the provision of basic parenting duties, therapeutic interventions, and the provision of a safe, nurturing, structured environment.  The YCW is directly responsible to the Program Manager.

Requirements include post secondary education in Youth Care Work, Social Work, Counseling or other related disciplines and/or 1-2 years previous work experience in human services.

Applications must include:
- resume, including three supervisory work references
- cover letter
- clear criminal record check including vulnerable sector query
- clear child abuse registry check (obtained through Ministry of Social Services)
- valid class 5 driver's license
- valid First Aid/CPR C
