Description

Our new Kindersley Full Service Rail Facility is scheduled to open in December with employment offered to successful candidates immediately.  The position offers 7 on, 7 off rotating shifts with camp accommodation for the duration of each 7-day shift.  Transportation to & from camp &/or the facility is not provided.  

Overview
Reporting to the Facility Manager, the Operator is responsible for day to day facility operations. This role is responsible for operating in a safe manner & understanding the regulatory & operating approvals & Standard Operating Procedures. You will have excellent customer service skills as you will be interacting with customers & drivers.

Responsibilities:

Rail loading
Truck unloading, accepting products, product separation & crude blending
Tank Operations, skimming & transfers
Equipment operation & maintenance
Computer data entry of tickets & reports & other documentation as required
Active in turnarounds & optimization of volumes being managed at the facility
Heavy Equipment operations, loader & skid steer

Requirements:
Strict compliance with SECURE's Occupational Health & Safety and Standards of Performance Conduct
Good verbal & written communication skills
Demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service
Excellent interpersonal skills & experience working within a team
Ability to perform multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Self-motivated & able to learn through on-the-job training; seek continuous improvement of performance
Desire & ability to work a rotating 12-hour shift with occasional overtime
Proven track record & solid work ethic regarding reliability, performance & attendance
Valid drivers license & clean driving record
Rail loading experience & valid industry tickets an asset
Minimum 1 year experience in oilfield waste management, &/or emulsion & water disposal operations, &/or heavy equipment operation
Solid understanding in using computer systems & MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook) would be an asset
