Description

FCL invites applications for the position of Senior Accountant (Interprovincial Co-operative Limited).

The Senior Accountant is responsible for:
1.The preparation and analysis of Interprovincial Co-operative Limited (IPCO) month end and year end consolidated financial statements, as well as other monthly operating and financial statements for IPCO.
2.Prepare and analyze IPCO budget consolidated financial statements, as well as other operating and financial statements for IPCO.
3.Process IPCO documents as required.
4.Reconcile and analyze various balanced sheet accounts.
5.Reconcile IPCO accounts receivable, identify overdue accounts and initiate collection proceedings as required.
6.Relieve on other duties within the section as determined by the Supervisor.
7.Other duties as assigned.

Note: This job requires extensive use of Syspro and PC computer spreadsheet applications.

The successful applicant will possess:
1.High School Education
2.Completion of a Post Secondary Diploma in Accounting, plus a minimum of three (3) years related accounting experience OR
3.University degree in Commerce with a major in Accounting.
