Description

Based in Saskatoon, SK and reporting to the Propane Department Sales & Operations Supervisor, the Propane Drivers Sales Representative is responsible for:
1.Promoting the sales and the use of Co-op Propane.
2.To provide customer service to all retail personnel, customers, and co-workers in a helpful and respectful manner, and refer any concerns to the supervisor for action.
3.To accept, schedule and carry out propane deliveries in the most efficient manner possible.
4.Become familiar with the operation of the computerized Propane Sales Management System (PSMS) and carry out administrative responsibilities as required.
5.To ensure all necessary preventative maintenance procedures are carried out on company vehicles driven, plus maintain all tools and equipment in safe working order and to report any problem areas to the supervisor.
6.To observe and assess potential hazards involving customer tank installations and report concerns to the supervisor.
7.To consistently adhere to all standard work procedures, policies, rules, regulations and guidelines.
8.As required, and under the direct supervision of a qualified service technician, assist in completing installations and service work on propane equipment (may work unsupervised on service work that does not require a gas license to complete)
9.The operation and service of truck cranes while following applicable standards during rigging, loading, securing and transporting of tanks and other equipment.
10.To paint customer tanks as required.
11.To perform other duties as assigned.

To qualify for this position, applicants must possess:
1.High School Education
2.Must hold a valid Class 3 (with air endorsement) license and have a safe driving record.
3.Must be in good health and be physically fit to perform all duties and responsibilities.
4.May be subject to pre-access Alcohol, Drug and Fitness testing for client groups.
