Description

Adecco is looking for a QC Inspector CWB Level I to join our client on a permanent full time basis.   Based in Biggar, Saskatchewan our client is a specialized manufacturer of above-ground steel storage tanks built to ULC,  UL, API and D55 design codes and they partner with experienced petroleum contractors to supply all the necessary components, including pumps, dispensers, bollards, spill containers, and electrical accessories to a variety of industries.

Job Duties for the QC Inspector CWB Level I
- Perform inspections and tests as required by the discipline assigned and as directed by supervisor.
- Prepare inspection/test reports and maintain the Quality Control (QC) files related to assignment.
- Promote and maintain effective communications and relations (verbally and in writing) with supervisor and the management team.
- Be involved in and provide QA/QC input to task planning meetings.
- Assist with tracking and logging Non-Conformance Reports, Quality/Productivity Improvement.
- Provide training to crafts regarding the project specific quality process and requirements.
- Be a liaison with and coordinate third party testing and Authorized Inspection agencies.
- Research and answer questions of a technical nature.

Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2-3 years quality control experience would be ideal
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and tank inspection experience is ideal
- Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Level 1 visual weld inspector ticket.
- Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) weld supervisor ticket.
