We are currently seeking a highly organized individual to join our team as temporary 6-month full-time Executive Assistant. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for
Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinating timely and informative internal and external communications
Maintaining employee files
Responding to ministerial inquiries
Responding to difficult tenant client issues
Preparing information packages for Board members prior to meetings
Attending Board meetings and recording minutes
Managing corporate records
Coordinating and cultivating a hospitable, comfortable and welcoming meeting environment
Ensuring consistent SHA standards
Researching and developing proposals on strategic assignments
Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Completion of a recognized business/office administration course
Five years experience in a senior administrative support position
Experience in a non-profit organization and working with Boards is desirable
Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing
Consistent display of integrity and a good work ethic
