Description

Saskatchewan Blue Cross,is currently recruiting for an Administrator-Group Contracts in our Saskatoon Office.

JOB FUNCTION
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate & timely generation of new contracts & existing contract amendments. Knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential to this position as the daily work requires editing, formatting & proofing using this software application.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Compile & verify information for the development & maintenance of contracts & booklets for new & existing clients
-Select appropriate contract template wording based on plan design & use functions within Word software to edit information
-Work with team to conduct peer audits to ensure accuracy of data
-Prepare, print & collate booklets or group contracts
-Assist in the knowledge transfer & training of new employees within the Group Administration area
-Assist in the development & maintenance of training documents
-Support & work effectively within a team structure under general supervision
-Remain current with industry knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
-Completion of a post-secondary diploma or certificate program in a related field or an equivalent combination of training & experience
-Previous experience in the insurance industry, in an office environment or with the administration of group plans would be considered an asset
-Must possess excellent word processing & computer skills with a proven ability to easily learn new software programs
-Strong analytical ability, with a high degree of accuracy & attention to detail is required
-Ability to manage multiple competing priorities & meet frequent deadlines
-Effective interpersonal & communication skills
-Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a team environment
-Must undergo a Reliability Screening and successfully obtain a Reliability Status
-Must be legally entitled to work in Canada on an unrestricted basis
