Job Summary:
CLAC is seeking a full-time permanent receptionist to receive callers/visitors at the office, determine nature of business, and direct callers/visitors to destination.
Key Responsibilities:
Obtains visitor'ss name and arranges for appointment with requested person.
Directs caller to destination and may record name, time of call, nature of business, and person called upon.
May type memos, correspondence, reports, and other documents.
May make future appointments and answer inquiries.
May perform variety of clerical duties and other duties including:
Office and clean-up supplies ordering and stocking
Inputting information into computer database
Meeting room, and hotel bookings and meal ordering
Postage and fax machine operation and maintenance
Processing cash/credit card payments
Arranging courier services
General office email review and distribution
May collect, record, distribute and drop off incoming mail, and collect and distribute faxes and messages.
Qualifications:
Completion of high school or equivalency education
Skills and Experience:
A minimum of 3 months experience in a similar role
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Able to demonstrate a friendly and polite telephone and personal manner, punctual and reliable
Proficient in MS Office and typing skills
Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships
