Underwriter
4 Month Term Position
Regina, SK

David Aplin Group, one of Canada's Best Managed Companies, has partnered with our client to recruit an Underwriter for a 4 month term position based in Regina.

The Role:

Underwriting commercial credit applications and preparing due diligence packages to ensure that they are as thorough as is required and sufficiently deal with major issues and risks
Presenting commercial credit applications to Credit Risk Management for approval
Reviewing and recommending annual review applications to Credit Risk Management for approval
Completing and recommending servicer reviews to Credit Risk Management for approval
Following proper funding, documentation and monitoring practices

The Ideal Candidate:

Successful completion of a business degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field
Previous lending experience and demonstrated proficiency is required
4 years progressive experience in the area of commercial credit and/or underwriting including Real Estate, Construction and/or Agricultural lending
