Description

The Willows is Saskatoons premier 36-hole golf course featuring an upscale clubhouse that offers dining and catering all year round. We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Food and Beverage Manager responsible for providing the best service in all of our Food and Beverage operations. You will be accountable for putting the Wow in every guest experience on a daily basis. This is a hands on position where you are accountable for developing and leading a team that creates these memorable guest experiences.  This is a diverse position that changes as the seasons change in the facility. The schedule for this position also fluctuates to meet the demands of our guests and needs of the management team.

Essential Functions:

Responsible for creating a culture where managers, supervisors and staff members go above and beyond the expectations of our guests on a daily basis.
Responsible for providing excellent service to all customers in the food and beverage outlets.
Execution and development of all standard operating procedures as they relate to the front of house operations.
Accountable for various Human Resource functions as defined by the Food & Beverage Manager, including recruiting, hiring, training, development and discipline in conjunction with the Human Resources department.
Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in the tight execution of cost controls and administrative duties.

Experience:

Minimum of 4 years experience in a dining room, lounge and/or banquets.
2 year minimum of previous Restaurant management experience (Banquet management could be considered).
Hands-on experience as bartender and server.
Some kitchen experience is an asset.
Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Hands on training experience.
Squirrel POS experience an asset.
Able to be on feet throughout a ten-hour day.

Must be authorized to work in Canada
