Description:
- To provide care to a 6 years old child while the parents are at work.
- Prepare simple meals and do light housekeeping.
- Prepare the child for going to school.
Requirements:
- Work setting is employer's private home.
- Reside in private household for duration of employment.
- Room and Board is $250.00/ month and will be deducted from salary.
- Salary is $10.59/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
- Must have at least 3 years experience of taking care of a child.
- Flexible working hours.
- Must know how to cook Filipino Dishes.
- Knows how to speak tagalog an asset.
- Would be able to go to with our child for school activities and field trips if parents are not available.
- Knows crafts for kids and can assist our child with his school works if needed
-Prepares the child's breakfast, lunch & dinner.
-The candidate must be able to multi-task, be patient & caring.
Children'S Ages
- School age (6 - 12 years)
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.)
- Red Cross Babysitting course
Specific Skills
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Supervise and care for children
- Read to children
- Prepare craft materials and assist children to use them
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
- Bathe, dress and feed infants and children
- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Help children with homework
