SLGA is seeking an accountable professional to work as a Store Manager and be an active member of SLGAs retail management team. You will be responsible for managing the activities associated with the operation of a high-volume liquor store, including leading a team to provide excellent service to a variety of customers such as commercial permittees, franchises and the general public. You will also be responsible for marketing and merchandising beverage alcohol products, preparing the store-operating budget and other store records, as well as managing cash accounting and product inventory functions. This position provides effective leadership and management of store employees through hiring, training, coaching, performance management, communication and assignment of work priorities. You will establish and maintain high quality, effective relationships with customer and Industry representatives and stakeholders. This position is also responsible for ensuring an effective and safe work environment for all staff and stakeholders.
