As Maintenance Technician you will report to the Regional Property Director. You will be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our your assigned building. You should be able to use a variety of tools and equipment. You will also need to complete paperwork and maintain snow and boiler logs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Trouble shoot and repair basic to intermediate heating, electrical and plumbing issues
-Perform general carpentry, drywall and painting repairs as required
-Install lighting and plumbing fixtures
-install and re-key locks and maintain key system
-follow all safety regulations in accordance with Provincial and company standards
-garbage pick up, suite and building cleaning as required
-ensure all suite maintenance is completed to Block1 standards upon tenant move out
-ensure suites are prepared for new tenants in accordance with block 1 standards
-ensure walkways, sidewalks and parking lots are cleared of snow and ice
-perform other duties as required
-must participate in the rotational on call period
Knowledge and skills:
-Must be able to lift and carry up to 5olbs.
-Have a valid drivers licence and vehicle
-Must possess a clean criminal record check
