POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a member of the major projects team, project delivery office, you will report to the sr. construction manager at the Saskatoon office. However, your position will be based at our northern mine site(s).  

You will be responsible for working with employees and contractors to create and monitor field installation work packages (FIWPs) to ensure quality, content and effectiveness.  You will identify role changes as required, record daily progress of FIWPs of active work fronts and ensure all constraints are cleared to maintain work progress and productivity.  You will also be responsible for ensuring the projects conform to Camecos processes and procedures.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements of the position:
    Diploma in construction management, engineering technology, or equivalent or a registered trade (mechanical, piping, electrical and instrumentation or millwright) or certified engineering technologist (CET)
    Minimum of twelve years relevant work experience
    Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
    Supervisory experience
    Strong communication skills
