We are currently looking for a talented and motivated individual to join the Traffic Safety Promotion unit in a temporary, full time 1 year opportunity as a Community Relations Coordinator at the Regina Operations Centre.
This is specialized administrative and creative promotional work in the planning, coordination, production and delivery of corporate, community, and media events; employee and community relations programs; and road safety and educational initiatives. Employees in this class work with considerable independence under a minimum of supervision, and may provide functional supervision to subordinate staff. Work is performed according to general direction where discretion and judgement are exercised. Work results must adhere to technical, industry, or professional standards and conform to organizational policy where some interpretation of their application may be required. Decisions at this level impact activities within defined programs, projects or services. Work problems of an unusual nature are reviewed with a supervisor for final decision. The majority of work is performed away from established headquarters and significant travel, including overnight stays, is required.
