Description

Specific responsibilities will include:
The day to day management and allocation of resources associated with multiple transformational processes
Maintaining compliance with environmental, safety, and governmental regulations;
Review and approve work procedures and policies;
Effectively communicating with other department heads;
Creating and developing new ideas for advanced company growth;
Daily coordination of activities between work groups  Operations, Maintenance, Management etc.
Evaluating and decision-making on daily production and maintenance activity.
Working closely with operating crews and process group to create a safe, reliable and efficient mill process.
Working with team to develop budgets as well as a 5 and 20 year plan.
Support the Occupational Health & Safety Committee as an integral member, along supervising a direct reporting of the in-scope OHC Workers Co-Chair/Safety Liaison
Report on KPI, Business, Marketing sensitivities to related key stakeholders

Qualifications of the position include:
First Class Power Engineers Certificate of Competency (Interprovincial) is preferred.
Second Class Power Engineers Certificate of Competency (Interprovincial) will also be considered if the candidate is currently working on a First Class Certificate.
Potable water treatment experience would also be an asset.
Have a minimum of 8 years related work experience;
Possess good written and verbal communication skills;
Have excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Skills in SAP a plus
Able to work with multiple tasks, prioritize and develop sound time lines;
Good personnel management skills;
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well in a fast paced team environment;
Be a self-starter, able to work with little direct oversight;
Possess problem solving, trouble-shooting, and diagnostic skills.
