We are seeking Intel Server Analysts to join a talented team of dedicated IT professionals. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Installation, monitoring, testing, & design of the server environment including all Intel server hardware & installed software components.
Technical support for Windows server software including: installing, configuring & maintaining software packages.
Make recommendations aimed at improving customer service.
Monitor, analyze & resolve problems with the use, operation or support of hardware & software.
Train and provide technical guidance to customers & other team members.
Develop an in-depth knowledge of the use, operation & support of hardware and software
Diagnose & remedy process, hardware or software related problems
Provide LAN support services, potentially including Service Desk support & trouble shooting - escalating support to more senior technicians as required.
In depth knowledge of software products which may include: Windows Server 2003, 2008 (R2) McAfee AV, Netbackup, & VMWare\
Messaging experience & knowledge in Lotus, Exchange and BES services & administration
QUALIFICATIONS:
Recognized diploma related to computer hardware/software or an equivalent combination of education, experience, & training plus 3 years of directly related experience.
In-depth knowledge of the use, operation and support of hardware & software, & how to diagnose & remedy related problems.
Excellent interpersonal & public relations skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide advice to both other members of team, and client.
Sound leadership & project management skills.
General knowledge of Windows Server Software (Microsoft Server 2012) & Intel Server hardware.
