EDUCATION: Successful completion of grade twelve or GED or a combination of relevant education, training and/or experience.
EXPERIENCE: Experience providing customer service and working with many diverse situations and personalities. Previous experience in banking with cash handling experience would be preferred.
KNOWLEDGE of: SIGA's Mission, Vision and Guiding Principles; First Nations culture, values, beliefs, traditions and protocols; Financial practices and banking functions.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Participates effectively as a team member to help define and work towards team goals. Consistently reliable in performance and behaviour. Very good oral and written communication skills, able to express oneself clearly. Always provides professional and courteous service even in difficult situations. Excellent problem solving skills. Ability to use multiple computer systems simultaneously; Good math skills with the ability to use a 10 key calculator; Ability to count and balance large sums of cash and chips.
Main Duties
Reporting to the Cage Manager and under the supervision of the Cage Supervisor, this position focuses on risk mitigation in support of organizational excellence, by providing meticulous control and record keeping of the flow of cash, chips and coupons between different parts of the casino and between the casino and its guests.
