INTRODUCTION:

We have been asked by the Vice President of a very busy and active industrial contractor in Western Canada to introduce qualified, industrial and civil construction superintendents for permanent, long-term career opportunities in Western Canada. Having varied work schedules (10/4, 14/7 for example) that are defined by the project requirements, this contractor has the ability to provide options for those working in the field and leading their construction sites! Being open to either relocating or allowing for fly-in/fly-out arrangements, this contractor truly understands that being flexible can help attract the best talent and are willing to be creative!

What really separates industrial and civil superintendents from their commercial counterparts is the strict guidelines on safety and how crucial having no lost time injuries can be. This contractor embodies the importance of safety having received such commendations such as 2,000,000 man hours without incident and projects being completed (over multiple years) with no lost time.

We are looking for construction superintendents with experience running job sites that can range from $ 10 MM to over $ 1 BN; the true factor is the scope of responsibility ? we are looking for the person who the schedule, the trades, the clients and ultimately the company held accountable for the delivery of the project. This individual will have extensive experience with various projects including, but not limited to: water treatment facilities, heavy foundations for piping stations, industrial buildings, processing plants, mining/oil and gas job sites, bridges, hydroelectric stations and other large concrete-laden civil infrastructure projects.
