Wanted!! ...Manager/Operator for a grain farm. Preference given to those interested in farming as a Long Term occupation. Duties include operating,servicing and maintaining farm machinery and equipment. Operations include seeding, spraying, harvesting and marketing. Successful applicant must have 1A drivers license or be able to obtain one. Post secondary education in Agricultural required to know crop production and marketing. Previous farm experience is an asset and will be reflected in wages paid. Willing to work long hours in busy seasons. Able to do physical manual labour when required. Beginning wages are $21.21 with a 40 hour averaged work week. Six (6) month probation period to determine experience, attitude and ability. Earnings higher with extra hours and performance. The farm is a 15 minute drive from Moose Jaw, SK. where living accommodations will be. Must be able to get own vehicle.
