Position Description
Littelfuse Startco has an immediate opening for a Permanent, Full-Time Embedded Electrical Engineer. The primary goal of this position is to assist in hardware and firmware design of protective relays.

Job Responsibilities
    Design hardware based on specification requirements
    Perform hardware testing and simulations as required
    Develop stable firmware for microprocessor designs within state-based or RTOS systems
    Coordinate CSA and/or UL certification test plan
    Provide manufacturing, testing and technical support
    Maintain project records and forecasts for review by the team members and management
    Investigate applicable new technologies and methods
    Attend and learn from related seminars and course work, e.g. project management, embedded systems, lean etc.

Position Requirements
    Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
    At least 3 years of relevant work experience
    Digital and analog electronics design, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) design, embedded software development, and power systems knowledge are assets.
