Mammoet is looking for experienced Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic for our busy branch in Regina, the main goal is to repair and maintain equipment in according to the Mammoet Safety and business standards, following Mammoet policies and procedures.
Responsibilities (including but not limited to)
Conduct all business in a professional, respectful manner
Carry all work out in accordance with Mammoet HSE/SHE-Q, Business, and Mammoet client policies and procedures, including the use of all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
Ensures compliance with all HSE/SHE-Q responsibilities as per HSE/SHE-Q manuals
Carry out repairs/maintenance in a safe way according to manufactures manual and corporate Safety manual
Report all near misses and incidents to supervision or management
Diagnose and/or determine technical problems
Perform regular inspection of all equipment within the department
Documents all repairs and parts replacement for equipment files
Able to read, understand and follow hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical diagrams
Performs regular maintenance of equipment/material within the department
Performs/executes repairs on equipment within the department
Mentor apprentices
Other duties as assigned by EMD supervision
Benefits
These positions fall under the Operating Engineers Crane Rental agreement. All pension and benefits are through Operating Engineers Local 870.
