Description

The RBC Dominion Securities branch in Moose Jaw, SK is looking for an associate to be part of a dynamic team.  The selected candidate will work closely with the Investment Advisor (IA) and perform administrative functions related to client accounts and inquiries while providing the highest quality client service.   The ideal candidate should have some previous financial or brokerage industry experience and have either completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct & Practices Handbook (CPH) or be currently enrolled in the course with the expectation to complete within six months.

Key Accountabilities:

Client Service:
         Input and follow up on client orders as directed by the IA
         Meet and greet prospects and clients
         Investigate and follow up on client inquiries
         Utilize contact management system for all necessary follow up

Administrative:
         Investigate and resolve inquiries and complaints related to accounts and refer to the Investment Advisor, Branch Management
          where appropriate
         Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery
         Maintain current knowledge of client accounts by reviewing daily activity on line and applicable reports
         Maintain client accounts
         Online account maintenance
         Monitor all pending registered plan transfers to ensure completion on a timely basis
         Ensure clients accurate and timely completion of all necessary documentation and forward to appropriate Branch contact
         Documentation and New Accounts openings
         Research
         Print Reports and distribute accordingly
         Assist in preparing mailing such as seminars, newsletters, and information packages
