St. John Ambulance Saskatchewan Council is seeking a CEO who is a dynamic, creative and highly responsible individual to lead our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the complete operations and management of the non-profit St. John Ambulance organization in Saskatchewan within the governance environment determined by the Board of Directors. The CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors.
The successful candidate will bring outstanding leadership and management skills developed from a record of employment demonstrating effective working relationships with boards, employees, volunteers and stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of progressively responsible positions displaying the consistent balancing of competing interests and the ability to function with budgeted limits. The profile is completed by well developed computer skills and a clear understanding of financial management and accounting concepts.
The successful candidate will have a relevant university degree and/or related work experience. A history of management in the non-profit sector and experience in the implementation of long term strategic goals would be an asset. Of special importance would be experience with non-profits that self-generate a substantial portion of their operating funding. Ideally the candidate will have knowledge of St. John Ambulance and will demonstrate a commitment to the goals and vision of the organization.
