The Deposit and Registered Plan Services department delivers operational and administrative excellence pertaining to a broad range of deposit and registered plan services. We focus on quality client service through effective and efficient business processing.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process daily administration of GIC, RRSP, RRIF and TFSA deposit products, ensuring compliance with policy, procedure and legislation.
- Processing of CUDP RRSP and RRIF data entry ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Administer restricted deposits in accordance with pension legislation and internal procedures.
- Provide technical support and service to staff and credit unions.
- Assist in the development of innovative improvements in business processes.
- Assist with general support functions of the various credit union programs and completion of tasks relating to department plan initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of post-secondary education with 1-2 years experience in an office environment, preferably working in the financial services area of deposits.
- Good working knowledge of the Ovation and Portfolio data systems.
- Good knowledge of deposit products would be beneficial.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 2003 (Excel/Access/Word)
- Resourceful team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, complemented by proven time management and problem solving skills.
