POSITION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for administrating, maintaining and improving the site quality management system (QMS) to meet requirements of the quality management program.
You will assist site personnel with reliability excellence through facilitation of continual improvement activities including procedure writing and editing and ensure that documentation and records are managed accordingly, both internal and external conformance and compliance audits are scheduled, facilitated and completed as necessary, legal and other requirements are monitored and communicated and that site risk management processes are facilitated appropriately. You will assist site departments with monitoring and measurement requirements for process improvement activities and provide support to the contractor management process.
In addition, you will deliver site QMS general awareness instruction to all site and contractor personnel.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements of the position:
Bachelors degree or diploma in a relevant engineering or science
Five to eight years of combined relevant work experience in safety, health, environment and quality systems, reliability, risk management, incident reporting and auditing in an industrial setting
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Excellent communication, technical writing and interpersonal skills
You are team-oriented with the ability to take initiative while working independently
Knowledge of ISO 19001 guidelines and/or ISO 14001 management system standard
Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
Assets:
Quality management diploma or equivalent
Auditor or lead auditor training
