AREVA Resources Canada has an opportunity for a Mill Maintenance Planner to join our team at McClean Lake mine site.  This position reports directly to the Mill Maintenance General Supervisor is described as follows:

Responsibilities include:  
The primary responsibility of the Mill Maintenance Planner position is to plan and schedule current and future maintenance repairs.
Work closely with maintenance personnel, examining equipment failure and identify root causes. Implement corrective actions to prevent equipment failure reoccurrence.
Ensure maintenance activities comply with regulating authorities.
Update equipment BOMs as required.
When necessary assist in scheduling of daily maintenance work using the SAP Capacity Planning for Mill Maintenance with the assistance of the Supervisors and General Supervisors.
Evaluate trends and identify cost saving opportunities through equipment modifications, material substitutions etc.
Complete other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
Applicants that have a Mechanical Engineering Technology diploma or Mechanical trade background will be given preference.
Strong mechanical aptitude
Strong computer skills with CAD experience is considered an asset.
Excellent communication skills and good work ethic is essential.
Knowledge of preventative Maintenance strategies is considered an asset.
Capability to learn the PM module of SAP computerized maintenance system.  
Ability to manage competing priorities in a demanding environment.
Highly organized with an emphasis for detail.
Strong verbal and written communicative skills.


Work Location & Schedule:  
McClean Lake, 7 days in/7 days out - 77 hour work week

Pick-Up Points:    Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region (Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac and Wollaston).
