Busy Municipality needs professional, high-level administrative assistant interested in position as Leadership teams right-hand. We need someone to:
Be responsible for various initiatives and tasks that require a high level of organization, professionalism, discretion and knowledge of day to day business practices while promoting a positive workplace environment
Provide cordial and efficient telephone and public inquiries
General clerical duties including but not limited to: filing, photocopying, scanning, faxing and mailing
Prepare correspondence in accordance with firm standards and branding including
Verify, enter and modify data from source documents with a superior eye and attention to detail
Proficiently process large amounts of data within: spreadsheets, database programs, and accounting processes
Review data for proper coding and completeness amend/resolve discrepancies as necessary
Generate and distribute reports as necessary
You should have:
3+ proven years in Office Administration; preference given to those with construction or public service experience
Intermediate skill level with all MS Office Products
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Learn new tasks quickly and efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to deal with heavy volume of data while working to strict deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively and possess a positive attitude
