THE ORGANISATION
Beaver River Community Futures Development Corporation is a non-profit organization providing financial and business support to businesses within Northwest Saskatchewan.
THE POSITION
The Business Services / Loans Officer is a permanent position reporting to the General Manager.  The incumbent will be responsible for: providing advice and information on business operations, markets, products, financial programs, etc. to qualifying small businesses and entrepreneurs; reviewing and analyzing financial information and credit reports to evaluate commercial loans; preparing recommendations regarding credit limits and terms of loans; managing projects; assisting in the marketing of products and services; and assisting in the management of BRCFDC?s investment portfolio.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
-    Strong oral and written communications skills;
-    Strong administrative and organizational skills;
-    Ability to multitask and work effectively in an active environment;
-    Degree or Diploma in commerce, business administration, economics, finance or equivalent;
-    At least three years small business management and/or counseling experience;
-    Practical understanding of the issues facing small business entrepreneurs and the ability to work and communicate effectively with them;
-    Knowledge of the resource sector in Saskatchewan;

The position is based in Meadow Lake, SK. Salary will be commensurate with experience and
qualifications.
