This is a term position which will be based in a PBCN Administration Office. The successful candidate will perform the following duties and will possess the following qualifications:
Duties:
- Provide Secretarial and Clerical duties as required.
- Take minutes of meetings as required by Council, administrative staff or Program staff.
- Provide filing services and develop familiarity so that information may be retrieved upon request.
- Monitor and stock office supplies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the Group Pension Plan
- Arrange, participate in and implement conferences and community meetings for Council and Administrators.
- Ensure all Purchase Orders are authorized and correctly coded.
- General Accounts Payable duties
- Maintain all office equipment
Qualifications:
- Degree, Diploma or Certificate in Administration
- Punctual and Reliable
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of software programs; MS Word, Excel (must be willing to learn AccPacc Accounting/Ceridian Payroll)
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to speak Cree is an asset but not required
- Valid driver?s license and reliable vehicle
