Our multiple division manufacturing company seeks an experienced Senior Financial Analyst. This role is located in Regina. A full relocation package is provided, combined with excellent compensation. Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will be part of the team responsible for the revamping of the companys entire financial system (SAP).In support of management, the Senior Financial Analyst will forecast and analyze the companys financial outlook, explore situations that need improvement, and recommend financial direction. By building a financial model for the company, the Senior Financial Analyst will use the statistics and generated data to identify risk, opportunity, and areas of profitability.
Essential Functions:
-Assist in the implementation of new financial systems, SAP / ERP experience ideal.
-Create a dynamic financial model that establishes a clear financial picture of the company.
-Analyze data, costs, and profitability to forecast the companys financial direction, including areas of risk and opportunity.
-Advise the management team on all financial matters and situations.
-Assist in the development of annual and monthly budgets, ensuring they align with current financial forecasts and models.
-Work with management to better understand and interpret industry and profitability drivers.
-Aide in the training and professional development of finance and operations staff.
Experience:
3+ yrs experience in an accounting or analyst role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 3 yr Community College diploma or 4 yr Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance required. CA, CMA, CGA designation preferred. Expert knowledge of ERP processes and implementation, and strong computer skills required.
