Description

The Kingfisher Inn is looking for an experienced Bar Manager with knowledge with the bar system, inventory, and high service standards. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Excel an asset. Must be bondable. Some post secondary education also an asset.

Premium Salary.

Bar Manager will be expected to:
- Take and record Inventory;
- Order inventory;
- Complete Bar Scheduling;
- Train new staff;
- Ensure that staff is maintaining cleanliness of the bar;
- Be responsible for cash and inventory control - spread sheeting;
- Work as bartender or on the floor at least three days a week (Wed, Fri, Sat nights) and manager two days a week;
- Be aware of local events, and market and book entertainment accordingly;
- Be available to cover no shows and any under staffing;
- Ensure staff are serving customers in a timely matter;
- Ensure that cost of inventory and cost of wages are in line with industry standards;
