Description

Reporting to the Executive Director, the PATH Coordinator is primarily accountable for the strategic planning, program management, relationship building, administration of the PATH Program, and direct support to refugees with high medical needs. Knowledge of the refugee experience, a thorough understanding of the Interim Federal Health (IFH) Program, and/or the health care system are critical aspects of this role.  The PATH Coordinator will work to develop partnerships with health care professionals and organizations, government agencies, educational institutions and not-for-profit agencies. He/she will also be responsible for coordination of services by working directly with and liaising between Government Assisted Refugees and health care providers. The role will require regular reporting to the Board and funding partners and it may require irregular hours in order to accommodate potential weekend and evening work.
