The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency (SCA) provides leadership to cancer care in Saskatchewan and operates prevention and early detection programs, conducts innovative research and provides safe, patient and family-centred care at our two comprehensive cancer centres - the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina and the Saskatoon Cancer Centre. We are seeking 1 permanent full-time Clinical Associates to work with the Medical Oncology/Hematology departments at the Allan Blair Cancer Centre in Regina.
The physician will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and under the supervision of the Medical Oncologist. The physician will participate in daily rounds, provide care to oncology/hematology patients admitted at the Pasqua Hospital and, as required, see patients in the Cancer Centre who require assessments and follow up care. Ideal candidates will have their Certification in Family Medicine along with experience in family practice management and hospital care or equivalent experience. Candidates must hold certification with the Medical Council of Canada or at minimum have completed the Medical Council of Canada evaluating exam (MCCEE) and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Physicians with Internal medicine, Medical Oncology or Hematology training and experience are also welcome to apply. The Saskatchewan Cancer Agency offers an attractive compensation, benefits and relocation assistance package. These positions are compensated within two salary schedules: Schedule A: $205,028 - $229,400 and Schedule B: $226, 338 - $302,435. Placement within these schedules will commensurate with an individuals training and experience.
