Job Duties:
- Prepare and cook Chinese full course meals
- Prepare and cook individual dishes and Chinese cuisine
- Prepare and cook special meal for patients as instructed by the Dietician/Chef
- Prepare and cook food for customers with food allergies or intolerances
- Plan menus
- Ensure that food quality standard and proportion complies with Health Regulations
- Inspect kitchen and food service area
- Train kitchen staff in preparing, handling and cooking of food
- Supervise and monitor kitchen staff and helper
- Maintain inventory, food record, supplies, stocks and equipment
- Ability to work with specialized kitchen equipment such as but not limited to deep fryer, wok, grill
- Supervise and clean kitchen and work space area
- Prepare, set up and cook buffet food and banquet
