Description

The Family Support Services Program is offered in partnership with the Ministry of Social Services.  The Family Support Services Program is a home-based service focusing on the healthy development of families and children.  The priority is to ensure the safety of children.The goal is to maintain the family unit or support healthy reunification,  whenever possible.  Applicants should demonstrate a belief in the integrity of the family unit and the right for children to have a safe nurturing home; have knowledge of child development, the Aboriginal culture; and effective parenting skills; possess strong communication skills and an awareness of community resources.

Use of personal vehicle is required with compensation.  Benefits package is available.
