Position:    General Pathologist Locum
        Full Time Locum Position for a one year term.    
Location:    Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Five Hills Health Region
Salary:    Compensation ranges from $301,179 to $346,356 per annum as stated in the Provincial Pathology Grid. A benefits package and professional expenses are also available after 6 months.

Job Description
This position is based out of the Moose Jaw Union Hospital, which is an acute care facility located 45 minutes west of Regina.  It offers 24-hour emergency services as well as a wide range of inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services to the community of Moose Jaw and surrounding area. Services include an active General Surgery program, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Urology, Paediatrics, Obstetrics, Gynaecology, Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging.  Additional services include Physiotherapy, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Patient Education.

The Moose Jaw Union Hospital laboratory offers services in Bacteriology, Hematology, Chemistry, Transfusion Medicine and Anatomic Pathology, including Surgical Pathology, Cytology and Post-Mortem examination; the successful candidate is expected to be proficient in each of these Clinical and Anatomic disciplines.

Qualifications
The successful candidate shall have or be eligible for certification in General Pathology with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan. Physicians must also have current Canadian Medical Protective Association coverage.  In accordance with Canadian Foreign Worker requirements, preference will be given to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada.
