Description

The Senior Planner will provide planning and scheduling services for the project. This position will assist the Project Controls Manager in applying project management expertise within DMC's site team and with the owner's representatives. This position will utilize experience and skills in detailed estimating, planning, scheduling, and progress measurement along with a firm understanding in the application of earned value reporting and change management. In addition, this position requires proficiency in the use of detailed Primavera P6 schedules loaded with cost, labour, and commodities.

- A minimum of 5 years of previous experience in a similar role. Preference given to experience in shaft sinking and underground development/construction.
-  Educational background in construction management, construction technologies, business administration, or engineering preferred; or equivalent combination of training and technical work experience.
-  Excellent communication skills including listening, verbal, and written.
-  Ability to plan and manage priorities to meet all deadlines.
-  Intermediate knowledge of Primavera P6 software and scheduling.
-  Knowledge of planning aspects within project controls.
