The City of Swift Current is seeking an individual to assume the position of Customer Service Representative. This position, reporting to the Manager of Revenue & Collections, is responsible for providing information to new and existing customers to the City of Swift Current, and handling customer concerns and inquiries in a diplomatic and tactful manner. This position serves as the primary backup to the cashiers as required. This is a permanent full time position.
Basic Requirements:
. Grade 12, and completion of a office administration program at a community college, technical or vocational school or institute, or an equivalent combination of experience and completion of relevant Municipal Government training; and
. Must possess excellent skills in problem-solving, organization, customer service, public relations, written and oral communication;
Desirable Requirements:
. Previous experience with a municipality or government agency; and
. Familiar with Windows based computer applications (ex. Microsoft Office) and financial/accounting software (ex. JD Edwards World Vision Software).
The wage for this position is $1,475.48 to $1,616.67 bi-weekly in accordance with the City of Swift Current - CUPE Local 183 Collective Agreement.
