Description

We are looking for a housekeeping supervisor at the Saskatoon Inn.
In the role of housekeeping supervisor you will achieve the highest quality of cleanliness for the hotel by directing and coordinating the Housekeeping operation in accordance with the standards of the Saskatoon Inn and Conference Centre.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Supervise all Laundry and Housekeeping staff
- Ensure that all housekeeping equipment is properly cleaned and maintained
- Adjusts staffing as necessary for sudden changes in occupancy.
-Schedules and supervises all rotational and special cleaning programs as required
-Monitors the responses on customer comment cards; identifies problem areas and formulates solutions.
- Ensures correct hours are entered into the payroll system on a daily basis.
- Train, motivate and supervise staff to ensure star performance and spirit standards are achieved.
- Physical requirements of the position include the ability to lift approximately 25-55 lbs.
-Recognizes and reward top performance, is approachable, caring and considerate.
-Ensure Lost and found items are entered correctly; respond to the guests lost and found calls.
-Performs cleaning duties in cases of emergency or staff shortage.
-Issues supplies and equipment to Staff.
-Establishes standards and procedures for work of housekeeping staff.
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year hospitality experience in the rooms division
Demonstrated working knowledge of Property Management system, Microsoft Word and Excel
Must possess very high motivational skills and the ability to lead the team with very little supervision
Displays a positive attitude, maintains enthusiasm and celebrates success
Ability to multitask under pressure.
Available to work flexible hours, including mornings and weekends
