Description

Morris Industries is a worldwide manufacturer and distributor of air seeding, tillage and hay hauling equipment.  
We are currently seeking to fill a permanent, full-time Forklift Operator position to join our manufacturing plant in Yorkton.

The Forklift Operator has the authority and responsibility to:
1. Perform as directed by the area supervisor and/or the charge hand in all matters related to the position.
2. Hold a valid Saskatchewan Operator's License Class 5 min. and have the ability to understand the operation of the Fork Lift controls.  
3. Have a general plant production knowledge in order to provide transport of parts to assigned departments or areas with safe loading, unloading and stocking methods of pallets and containers.
4. Perform service checks on the machine and report defective operation to supervisory  personnel.
5. Understand yard storage practices for the safe and orderly transport of storage parts and/or finished goods.
6. Read and understand work orders, primary drawings or rough sketches to enable the person to locate and deliver product parts and also be able to use a measuring tape to measure parts or material.
7. Have a general knowledge of the operation of a two-way radio system and the coding dialogue used in same.
8. Fill out work orders, man-hour cards, quality assurance forms and inventory forms properly and accurately.
